We, from Rinjani Trek Tour & Travel would like to introduce our new program called Social Excursion package. Social excursion is we are not only doing tours but could do social work that is an amalgam of cordial and genuine effort of human innermost to preserve or foster cultural life that is a pivotal of an ongoing and sustainable of ecosystem.

We would try to highlight Jambianom coastal area as an object off the beaten track in order for us to witness slightly this simple and humble village life is intertwined by strong cooperation among each other that was inculcated into the basic social life inherited through generation.
The highlight of their life is hand to mouth existent is now besieged by the demolished of coral life undersea water along the coast is now heartrending scene.

Along with the mission and vision of Jambianom Coral Society Club to preserve nature and in particular coral life undersea water bed around jambianom coastal area, we, from Rinjani Trek tour And Travel are being moved to release this piece of information before you.
By doing tours and all at once could do social work is a prod of local people to take more heed of their environment and in particular coral growth as a pivotal sustainable ecosystem undersea water bed and its habitat.

Jambianom Coral Society Club

Jambianom is a traditional fisherman village to the north of Mataram City. It is an unfolding coastal bay which is inhabited by 500 villagers which their main profession is fishermen.
But now days, due to coral environmental destruction under water around Jambianom coastal area as a result of fish bomb ( dynamite ) is an anguish scenery since years ago was done by perpetrated – irresponsible fishermen to double their catch without a slight blink of environmental minded and they just left this mess to their future generation unresolved.

By perceiving this matter, there were 20 people as proxy of Jambianom society since 2 years ago, took initiative to establish non profit organization or Jambianom Coral society Club is much known now days as an umbrella to re-grow, re-propagate, re-pullulate multicolor coral species as a means of preserving nature of undersea water of Jambianom coastal area.
Their lack of funding, but with their resolute endeavor and genuine effort of Jambianom society have rekindled enthusiasm among some local donors from Jakarta to give any help even just a drop of an idea.
In the future, Jambianom people plan to develop 18 acres undersea water bed to pullulate multicolor of coral genus and some of them are the genuine coral species just found only in Micronesia, Papua New Guini and some part of Philippine but could be propagated under the prolific seabed water of Jambianom coastal area.

A pleasure Coral Game Display
Through the process you are invited to do coral game by joining us in to glue and stick coral sprout to the small concrete mushroom-like and thrush it for 5 minutes on the makeshift medium on the beach. Then, by riding on small engine boat we transfer and instill it to the seabed medium and put your waterproof - name text on it.
Later, we will report about its development to you periodically through an e-mail or you could monitor it through our web site.

How To Get There
It is about one hour by car from Mataram City to the north of Lombok to this interesting place. And it is 2 hours by car from Lembar harbor to this spot. It is 25 minutes by flight from Bali to Mataram airport, then from here to this spot ( Jambianom Coral Society Club ) is only about 45 minutes to the northern part of Lombok.
